Texas A&M University began in 1925 as South Texas Teachers College. Through preservation of its original buildings, the campus offers a unique blend of architectural significant structures and modern classrooms. Naval Air Station Kingsville serves as one of the largest advanced jet training centers in the United States. King Ranch Museum and archives offers a unique look at life on and the history of the King Ranch from the early days to the present. L.E. Ramey Golf Course is a favorite spot for area residents and Winter Texans alike. Open year-round. |
